Monthly Scrub is our recurring house cleaning service designed to give your home a professional reset every four weeks.

Each visit follows a detailed cleaning plan covering your kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors, including routine dusting, surface cleaning, vacuuming and mopping.

Because there is more time between visits, we pay particular attention to the areas where dust, grime and everyday buildup tend to accumulate throughout the month, bringing your home back to a clean, refreshed standard.

Why does Monthly Scrub start with an Initial Clean?

The Initial Clean is a more detailed first cleaning that gives us the additional time needed to prepare your home for monthly maintenance. We address existing buildup, detail areas that need extra attention and establish the clean starting point we’ll work from moving forward.

After that, we return every four weeks for your Monthly Scrub, following your cleaning plan and bringing the home back to its established standard each visit.

How much will my monthly cleaning cost?

Accepted Answer

Every home is different, but as a general example, a home of around 2,000 sq. ft. (excluding the basement) can expect Monthly Scrub to be approximately $265 + GST per visit.

Your exact rate will depend on your home’s layout, condition and cleaning needs.

Monthly Scrub is priced based on completing your agreed cleaning plan—not by the time spent in your home—so your regular rate stays predictable from visit to visit.

Your Initial Clean is priced separately, and your ongoing monthly rate will be confirmed before recurring service begins.

Question 4

Will my cleaning be on the same day and time every four weeks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Monthly Scrub is scheduled every four weeks, so your cleaning is reserved for the same day of the week and arrival time whenever possible.

There’s no need to contact us each month to book your next visit—your recurring appointments are already on our schedule.

If a change is ever necessary due to a holiday or unexpected circumstance, we’ll communicate with you in advance.

Question 5

Do I need to be home during my monthly cleaning?

Accepted Answer

No. You’re welcome to be home, but you don’t need to plan your day around your Monthly Scrub.

Many clients provide a secure access method, such as a door code or another agreed entry option, so we can complete the cleaning while they’re at work or away.

Once access is arranged, you can carry on with your day and return to a professionally cleaned, refreshed home.

Question 6

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

Accepted Answer

We provide the professional cleaning products and supplies needed for your Monthly Scrub service. The only equipment we ask you to provide is your household vacuum, left somewhere accessible for your cleaning technician.

Using the vacuum that stays in your home helps reduce the transfer of dust, pet hair and debris between households.

If you have preferred cleaning products, delicate surfaces or special instructions, let us know and we can add those details to your cleaning plan.

Question 7

Can Monthly Scrub be adjusted to my home?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Monthly Scrub follows a consistent cleaning plan, but we can also incorporate household tasks that make your service more useful to you.

This could include changing bed linens, making beds, hand-washing dishes when needed, unloading the dishwasher and putting items away, or watering a houseplant while we’re there.

We can also discuss particular areas of your home that you’d like us to prioritize during your monthly visits.

Some additional requests may require extra time or an additional charge, which we’ll discuss with you beforehand.

Question 8

What if I’m away or need to change my monthly cleaning?

Accepted Answer

No problem. If you’re travelling, have guests or need to change an upcoming visit, let us know at least 48 hours in advance. When availability allows, we can reschedule your cleaning to another day.

Because Monthly Scrub is scheduled every four weeks, we recommend rescheduling rather than skipping whenever possible. A missed visit creates a longer gap between cleanings and may result in additional buildup before your next service.

Changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to our cancellation policy.

Where do you offer monthly house cleaning?

Our Monthly Scrub house cleaning service is available throughout Edmonton and surrounding communities, including Sherwood Park, & St. Albert.

Because Monthly Scrub clients receive a recurring day and time every four weeks, availability depends on our current routes and openings in your area.
